Day 10 - Punta Cana

As night and day blended together we struggled to care for our sick little Lola and despite coming out of it with a relatively positive outcome what awaited us at the end of this day was more exhaustion and yet another ear infection for our poor adorable Wesley.

Day 9 - Punta Cana

A day down south in Punta Cana that started out as a mirror image of any previous day that we had before it. As the day drew to a close however things took an unexpected turn and had me panicking as a parent like never before.

Day 8 - Punta Cana

On our cloudiest day here we aim to take it even easier than before since half the party isn't feeling 100% and the weather is a little mix of everything minus the snow and cold.

Day 7 - Punta Cana

A day of discoveries around a single pool where men hug, food is a stone throw away, the beach just a bit further, a bartender named William who makes a mean dirty monkey, and a family enjoying their vacation and each other as best as they can.

Day 6 - Punta Cana

Wesley's very first birthday will be celebrated in a strange land surrounded by warm weather, fun activities,good company, and the one he loves most. There are definitely worse ways to celebrate a birthday.

Today we chose to flip flop the pool and beach activities. First we'll visit the beach and get all crusted with sand. Then we will head to the pool enjoy some sand free time by the water.

Travelling sometimes displaces our home life routines with travel routines. Sometimes we do this consciously in an effort to break away from the monotony and repetitive nature of our lives at home. If we are lucky the novelty awakens us to what we have here and back home… life, love and a beautiful family.

While we hoped our second night down here would be a silky smooth transition into all nighter sleeper hits I am sad to report that it was another banger. On the positive side we did get a crib, yay Sophie, but Wesley really struggled throughout the night.

Our last day of vacation in Miami is spent together as a family and has all the feels. Less rollercoaster-ish and more romcom-ish. Thanks for hosting us and growing our love Florida.

On our seventh day in Florida and my second day delivering traveling daddy day care services what could possibly go wrong? Plenty it seems but we roll with the punches and come out the other side bright eyed and bushy tailed.

On our sixth day in Miami, Florida it was time to see if I had what it takes to take care of my two precious children while abroad in another country while Sophie attends a real estate conference. Cue mission impossible music.

On our third day in Florida we make plans to visit the zoo and rediscover this magical world through the eyes of our adorable little Lola. The journey reminds me of so much lost beauty and wonder in life. Join us as we rediscover life through the eyes of a child.

On our second day in Florida, we brave the wild jungle Manatee River with two canoe teams ready for anything and everything. What we find in our travels is nothing short of amazing. Join us in our wild ride down memory creation lane.
